The Key Coaching Essentials:
Once a relationship based on trust and rapport is established, I will challenge thinking and assumptions to support you, the individual in your goal setting. Key elements of the coaching include:
A short coaching needs meeting – to discuss your context and goals. The coaching process and confidentiality are discussed and this meeting provides an essential ‘chemistry check’ – to ensure a strong relationship will develop.
Defining the clients objectives – where both essential short term goals and longer term aspirations are established. If you are a business, where relevant, your manager will be included in a three way meeting at the outset and on completion of coaching.
Flexible coaching structure – A format determined by your schedule and needs, but generally around 4-6 sessions, lasting 1.5 to 2 hours and spaced at weekly or monthly intervals, or as agreed with you.
Bespoke coaching interventions – to raise awareness, reflect on strengths and challenges, and focus action. Coaches draw upon an extensive range of psychological tools and methodologies to ensure the desired outcomes are achieved (including Myers Briggs, stakeholder feedback, and positive psychology).
Ongoing coaching evaluation – to produce realistic and effective strategies for action, ensuring sustained change long after their coaching has finished.
Ongoing coaching support – Added value of phone and email support that anyone can take advantage of anytime.
